Severn and Wye Railway, a railway in the W of Gloucester; from Lidbrook on the river Wye, to the Severn in the neighbourhood of Lydney, with branches in Dean forest, and with a short canal and a harbour at Lydney. It is entirely a mineral line; was partly authorized so early as 1809, and improved under an act of 1853; and was originally called the Lydney and Lidbrook.
