Pinley or Pindley The History Topography and Directory of Warwickshire 1830

Pinley or Pindley, - is a small hamlet, at a short distance from Claverdon, containing about 40 inhabitants. There was formerly a Benedictine nunnery here. It was established shortly after the Conquest, and some remains of Pinley Abbey are still to be seen.
