Note. – The Marriage entries contained in the existing Register of the parish of Nimpsfield, commencing in 1679, were printed in Vol. I, pp. 112-131 of this series. There are however, at Gloucester, transcripts of an earlier Register of Nimpsfield, now lost, for several years prior to 1679, viz., for 1609, 1619, 1637, 1638, 1660, 1665, 1670, 1675, and 1678. The Marriage entries in these transcripts have been copied by the Rev. W. Symonds, M.A., Vicar of Sherston, Wilts.
