Teddington Middlesex Lewis Topographical Dictionary of England 1845

TEDDINGTON (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Kingston, hundred of Spelthorne, county of Middlesex, 11 miles (S. W. by W.) from London; containing 1199 inhabitants, and comprising 1052 acres by admeasurement. The village stands on the western bank of the Thames, on the road from London, through Isleworth, to Hampton Court. Bushy Park, the usual country residence of William IV. and his queen, Adelaide, before their accession to the throne, is partly in the parish.

Muswell Hill Middlesex Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales Circa 1870

MUSWELL-HILL, a hamlet in Hornsey parish, and a chapelry partly also in Clerkenwell parish, Middlesex. The hamlet lies between the Great Northern and the Midland railways, 1 mile WNW of Hornsey r. station, and 5 ½ NNW of St. Pauls, London; includes straggling lines of houses, with numerous villas; and has a post-office under Hornsey, London N. The chapelry was constituted in 1843; was taken mainly from Hornsey parish; and includes only a detached portion of Clerkenwell. Pop. in 1861, 919. Houses, 161. Pop. of the Hornsey portion, 877. Houses, 154.

Bayswater Middlesex Lewis Topographical Dictionary of England 1845

Bayswater, a hamlet, in the parish of Paddington, Holborn division of the hundred of Ossulstone, county of Middlesex, 1 mile from Cumberland-gate, London, on the Uxbridge road. Bayswater, which may now be considered as a suburb to the metropolis, consists of several ranges of neat houses and of some handsome detached residences; it has been much increased by ranges of new buildings branching off from the main street towards the north and south, and is desirable as a place of residence from its vicinity to Kensington gardens, which are situated on the south.
