Masham is a small market-town in the North Riding of Yorkshire, 218 miles from London. It has a cloth-manufactory; a corn-mill on the river Ure; and a warren in the neighbouring moor, called Ellingstring-moor. Market on Tuesdays, and fairs September 18 and 19.
