Bretforton – a parish to the hundred of Blakenhurst, upper division, 4 miles E. from Evesham, and 100 from London; containing 87 inhabited houses. It is a vicarage, the Rev. J. Timbrell, D.D. incumbent in his own right; instituted 1816. Population, 1801, 421 – 1811, 444 – 1821, 451.
