Berwyn, a joint hamlet with Croes, in the parish of Trêgaron, upper division of the hundred of Penarth, county of Cardigan, South Wales, 3 ½ miles (E. by S.) from Trêgaron: the population is returned with Croes. In this wild and mountainous district is the small lake Llỳn Berwyn, from which issues a stream, called the Berwyn, which, after joining the Croes, falls into the Teivy, a little below the town of Trêgaron.
