All Souls Church Langham Place A Handbook for London 1849

All Souls’ Church, Langham Place. Built from the designs of John Nash, at the contract price of 15,994l. The expense was defrayed by Government. Some alterations, with warmers, &c., made at the expense of the parish, amounted to 1719l. 10s. The foundation stone was laid Nov. 18, 1822. Over the altar is a picture by Richard Westall, R.A., “Christ crowned with Thorns.”
